Get Up To Date With Trent Seven

trent seven

That’s right, on April 23rd Trent Seven will be representing Progress Wrestling at The Star! While we are still a few weeks away from the mammoth event, we thought it would only be appropriate to familiarise our audience with one of the incredible performers that will compete come Progress x PWA.

The Wolverhampton-native is a charming and classy looking gentleman, but a gritty and tough-as-nails competitor who looks to batter down any opponent with his hard-hitting “British Strong Style” offence.

Accomplishments

Speaking of “British Strong Style,” in 2016, Seven formed a partnership with Pete Dunne to go on and capture the Progress Tag Team Championships, forming what would become one of wrestling’s hottest sensations in recent history. Later that year, Seven’s ‘Moustache Mountain’ partner Tyler Bate joined the stable, with the three of them going on to win Chikara’s ‘King of Trios’ tournament. Seven and Bate also boast two Progress Tag Team Championship reigns, along with the a Revolution Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship reign.

Individually, Seven has no shortage of achievements either. In 2011, he became the inaugural Fight Club: Pro Champion, as well as winning the company’s ‘Infinity Trophy Tournament’ in 2013. He also captured the ICW World Heavyweight Championship in early 2017. Along with this, Seven was one of 16 men to participate in WWE’s United Kingdom tournament in 2017, making it the quarter finals before being defeated in an outstanding match.

What can we expect come April 23rd?

While it is currently unknown who from the PWA roster will be facing Seven, we know to expect an excellent showing nonetheless. Whether it is his brutal Seventh Heaven Piledriver or his vicious Seven Stars lariat, Seven will look to inflict some damage to whoever is on the other side of the ring. And with his British Strong Style stable-mates also announced for the card, who knows what type of carnage the group may plan to unleash at The Star.
