Bad Luck Fale Comes to PWA!
Bad Luck Fale is a New Japan Pro Wrestling competitor and Bullet Club member. In case you've been living under a rock (or just suffering from Australian internet), we're here to get you up to speed with The Underboss.
From humble beginnings in New Zealand to playing representative rugby in Japan, to being a founding member of professional wrestling’s most sought-after faction, The Bullet Club, Bad Luck Fale is an international wrestling sensation.
The 6 foot 4 inch, 154kg, “Underboss” of New Japan Pro Wrestling is as menacing as they come all while maintaining his cool and slick aura.
A product of the demanding New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo, Fale gained the respect and admiration of his fellow Japanese peers through his determination. He is one of few gaijins (non-japanese wrestlers) who has managed to pass through the dojo, standing alongside the likes of Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) and Karl Anderson of the original Bullet Club.
Accomplishments
In 2013, alongside Devitt, Anderson and Tama Tonga, Fale would help found the hottest professional wrestling faction today, The Bullet Club. This foundation would stand as a significant turning point in the careers of all these men. Fale continues to dominate the ranks of New Japan Pro Wrestling using his signature Bad Luck Fall (throwing crucifix powerbomb) and Grenade (chokeslam transitioned into a thumb thrust).
In 2014, Fale would defeat Shinsuke Nakamura to win his first championship in New Japan, the IWGP Intercontinental Champion. In 2016 the success continued as The Bullet Club (Fale, Tama Tonga & Yujiro Takahashi) defeated Chaos (Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe & Toru Yano) to win the NEVER 6-Man Openweight Championships.
Fale currently holds the NEVER 6-Man Openweight Championships alongside Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa having defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon (Bushi, Evil and Sanada) at Road to Tokyo Dome December 17, 2017.
The Bullet Club
Problems for the Bullet Club? No problem. Need dirty work done? No problem. Need someone taken out? Too sweet.
Fale harkens back to the days of the big, brute gaijin and often compared to wrestlers of past like Stan Hansen, Dr. Death Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. Make no mistake about it, 'The Underboss' is the muscle of The Bullet Club with unmatched strength and power.
What does this mean for the PWA roster?
Joining forces with Australia's only Bullet Club member, Gino 'Mr. Juicy' Gambino, the tag team division has been put on notice.
One wonders who will step up to the plate to face the monstrous duo. For now, let us know on social media who you want to see face The Bullet Club on January 19th at PWA: Black Label ‘Lock, Stock and Too Sweet Barrels’,
